Following the successful deployment of its airport ground power equipment in the Korean aviation market, AEME has taken another important step in strengthening its presence in the Republic of Korea by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gyeongsangbuk-do, further advancing cooperation in green energy, energy storage, and sustainable airport infrastructure.

AEME recently participated in the China (Chengdu)–Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic & Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, jointly organized by the Chengdu Opening-up and International Cooperation Center (COICC), the Government of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and its affiliated cities and counties. The event brought together government representatives, industry leaders, and enterprises from China and the Republic of Korea to promote economic collaboration and explore new opportunities for sustainable development.
During the conference, AEME and Gyeongsangbuk-do signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting cooperation in green energy, energy storage, and related sectors. The agreement was signed by Mr. Yu Zhao, Vice President of Global Business and Director of Brand Marketing Department at AEME, and Mr. Lee Nam Auk, Director General of the Airport & Investment Headquarters of Gyeongsangbuk-do.

The MoU establishes a framework for future collaboration in clean energy technologies, battery energy storage systems (BESS), green microgrids, and sustainable airport development. The partnership will support the deployment of innovative solutions across industrial, commercial, aviation, and airport ground support applications, while creating new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

During the afternoon business exchange session, Fenq Qi, Global Marketing Manager at AEME presented the latest developments in energy storage systems (ESS), battery energy storage systems (BESS), green microgrids, and sustainable airport GSE solutions. The presentation highlighted the company's commitment to accelerating the global energy transition through advanced energy storage technologies and integrated clean-energy solutions. At the one-on-one business matchmaking sessions, Nicky Wei from AEME's Overseas Business Department engaged with Korean organizations to explore potential cooperation opportunities and future projects.
As one of the Republic of Korea's leading industrial regions, Gyeongsangbuk-do is home to a well-established ecosystem spanning semiconductors, batteries, aviation, and advanced manufacturing industries. Building on the momentum generated by the successful hosting of the 2025 APEC Summit, the region continues to strengthen its role as a hub for innovation, investment, and international cooperation.
